Giraffe sanctuary in Nairobi adopts cashless payments

The Giraffe Centre Sanctuary in Nairobi will go cashless at the beginning of February.

The African Fund For Endangered Wildlife Ltd (AFEW) Kenya has announced that the Giraffe Centre Sanctuary in Nairobi will be adopting cashless payment for conservation fees, effective February 1.

According to AFEW Kenya CEO, Christine O. Nyang’aya, the reason for this is that AFEW Kenya is conscientiously working toward improving service delivery to guests at the sanctuary.

From February 1, AFEW Kenya – Giraffe Centre Sanctuary, will only accept conservation fees by one of the following:

  • Safaricom Mpesa.
  • Debit and credit card point of sale machines.
  • Direct deposit cheques for approved credit customers.
