Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG) and Cresta Hotels have donated a glass crusher to the volunteer-run Juliasdale Community Recycling Group in Nyanga, Zimbabwe.
According to RTG, the initiative aims to address the high cost of transporting recyclable glass for processing, which can outweigh the value of the glass in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands.
The group said the glass crusher will help reduce transport costs for volunteers while supporting efforts to keep the tourism area clean.
