The dire state of the tourism industry continues, with 47% of polled readers earning less than 60% of their salary.
A total of 290 readers answered the monthly Tourism Update poll question for July, which asked: What percentage of your salary did you receive last month?
The results show that 17% of readers remain unemployed as a result of COVID-19 and only 16% of readers received their full salary in July. That is up two percent on June.
