The fluctuating exchange rate hasn’t been the best news of the year, neither was the recent defeat of the South African cricket team by the English. A video of the Barmy Army supporters at the Newlands cricket test match went viral with their chant about the exchange rate between the rand and pound.
England supporters rejoiced,not only at the Proteas’ defeat, but at the favourable, R23 to £1, exchange rate.
