New camp opens in Mara North

Elewana has opened Little Elephant Pepper Camp in Kenya’s Mara North Conservancy, expanding the brand’s presence while maintaining existing bed night limits.

The new camp comprises three safari suites and one two-bedroom family suite featuring a private veranda and plunge pool. Located just over half a kilometre from Elephant Pepper Camp, the property has been designed as a low-impact development with no fences or permanent structures.

Designed by Jan Allan of byDESIGN, the camp incorporates campaign furniture, warm woods, brass detailing and an earthy colour palette. Facilities include a dedicated wellness treatment tent and new safari vehicles.

Guests have access to game drives across the nearly 30 000 hectare Mara North Conservancy where wildlife moves freely between the conservancy and the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Walking safaris are also available.

Elewana said the camp is suited to couples, multi-generational families and small groups with exclusive-use bookings.
