New Cape Town villa opens for bookings

Moondance Villa, in Fresnaye, Cape Town, has opened for exclusive-use bookings since being revamped and updated by the Berman Brothers Group.

The multi-level villa, at the foothills of Lions Head, sleeps eight guests. It offers complete privacy and offers all modern conveniences and panoramic seascapes across the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island.

There are four en-suite bedrooms, which include a master suite with walk-in closets, a private lounge and kitchenette.

The villa is available for exclusive-use private rentals, small weddings, launches and functions.

There is a private lift above an indoor water feature and the living and entertainment areas are open plan, connecting several lounges, bar areas, dining room and living rooms on the ground floor, leading to terraces with barbecue areas, water features and Koi ponds. Décor includes contemporary African art, and there is an under-pool bar, a Smart Lounge and cinema room.

Facilities include a rim-flow swimming pool, the largest private gym on the Atlantic Seaboard, and an on-site steam room.

A secret garden showcases a formal olive grove of 60-year-old olive trees that line a secluded entertainment space.

Peak season rates are R130 000 (€8 812) per night for exclusive use, and low season rates are available from R65 000 (€4 406) per night, inclusive of butler service, full breakfast and stocked bars on check-in.
