Africa Tourism Partners (ATP) has rescheduled the Africa MICE Masterclass, which will now take place from March 13-16 in Johannesburg.
The course was previously scheduled to take place from February 20-23 and the change was necessitated by the need to accommodate more Africa Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Exhibitions/Events (MICE) practitioners who wish to attend.
Among others, the masterclass will focus on the latest industry research and trends that present opportunities for attendees to keep up to date with and respond to the ever-changing trends and developments within the industry.
Countries such as Rwanda, Ghana, South Africa and Zimbabwe are focusing more and more on business and event tourism to advance their strategic priorities in tourism.
ATP Project Director, Maureen Bandama says: “It is a catalyst to propel MICE and business tourism in Africa to a higher league. As a result, prospective attendees will include representatives of leading MICE destinations, tourism authorities, convention centres, convention and visitors bureaux, event planners, account directors, professional conferencing organisers, municipalities, and more, from across Africa.”
The Masterclass gives attendees the opportunity for peer-to-peer learning through a series of interactive sessions, which are supported by ATP partners, industry associations, advisory organisations and research institutions.
