New wine tour in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley

Morendat Farm, at the heart of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley has opened its cellar doors, introducing its new Leleshwa Wine Tour 2018.

The tour takes place at 10h00 every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting on November 10 until December 15 at Morendat Farm, Naivasha, a one-and-a-half-hour drive from the capital, Nairobi.

It includes welcome tea and snacks, canapés, a three-course meal featuring the farm’s Premium Aged Morendat Beef as the main course, all of which is paired with a wine tasting featuring  four varieties of Leleshwa Wines, with sweeping views overlooking Mount Longonot. In addition, guests can enjoy an extensive tour of the vineyard, guided by Morendat’s resident viticulturist.

The Leleshwa Wine Tour 2018 can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests, who will also have the opportunity to purchase wine at discounted rates from the Morendat Farm shop. The shop only accepts M-pesa payments (mobile phone) for these purchases, therefore guests are advised to make arrangements prior to the tour to avoid inconvenience.
