Chichele Safaris welcomes back GMs
Grant and Annemie Parker have been appointed as the General Management Couple for Chichele Presidential in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
The Parkers return to the Luangwa Valley after previously managing Puku Ridge – part of the same group. Their appointment follows the lodge’s reopening in April.
Together the couple bring 52 years of experience in high-end hospitality. Their background includes senior management positions at Gomoti Plains and Chief’s Camp in the Okavango Delta, Sanctuary Olonana in the Maasai Mara and Puku Ridge in South Luangwa.
Annemie brings 25 years of operational and guest experience leadership, talent development and financial management. Her previous roles include senior positions at The Marine Hotel in Hermanus, The Plettenberg on the Garden Route and Cybele Forest Lodge in Mpumalanga.
Grant brings 27 years of culinary leadership, lodge operations and guest experience design with experience at the Royal Livingstone in Zambia, Rattray’s in Mala Mala and White Sands in Zanzibar.
GaTOA appoints new Interim Chairperson
The Gauteng Tour Operators Association (GaTOA) has appointed Victor Sibeko as Interim Chairperson following the immediate resignation of Chairperson and Co-Founder Ledimo Ndebs Ndabezitha.
Ndabezitha said: “There is a time for everything under the sun. I wish GaTOA all the best going forward and will remain a member.”
Responding to the announcement, Sibeko said: “We thank Mr Ndabezitha for his commitment, passion and leadership in the past two years. His contribution has shaped GaTOA’s legacy and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
