Bushtracks Africa welcomes two new members to its Central Reservations team – Ayanda Mkhize as Reservations Consultant and Leanne Marx as Senior Sales Consultant.

Mkhize has extensive experience in the reservations side of the travel industry. She previously worked for companies such as Sun International, Abercrombie and Kent, as well as Extraordinary Collection.

“I am positive that Mkhize will greatly contribute to the skill set of the Central Reservations Team and make us a far more efficient department overall. In the short time since she started in this position, she has already showed great interest and enthusiasm in her role. We are very much looking forward to working with her,” said Andette van den Heever, Reservations Manager at Bushtracks Africa.

"Marx joined us as a Senior Sales Consultant and we are very excited for her career at Bushtracks Africa. She has extensive experience and knowledge within the industry, having worked at MalaMala Game Reserve, Tourvest, &Beyond and More Hotels. I am sure that she will contribute greatly to the overall success of the team going forward.  We are very excited to have her on board,” commented Van den Heever.

Taj Cape Town has appointed Carmen Rhodes as Associate Director of Sales for Corporate and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE), based in Cape Town, while the Johannesburg-based sales team welcomes Alicia Read as Senior Sales Manager and Samin Atif as Sales Executive.

Rhodes has an extensive background in sales in the hotel and tourism industry, with high-level experience at a number of luxury properties, tour consultancies and safari operators. Prior to this she was with Radisson Hotel Group for more than three years.

She has completed a Diploma in Hospitality Management with the American Hotel & Lodging Institute, has an Overall Management qualification from Harvard Management Mentor and Business Economics and Computer Programming qualifications from the Johannesburg College of Education.

Cindy Boshoff, Director of Sales and Marketing, says the new additions to Taj Cape Town’s sales team will help drive the brand on to even greater heights in South Africa. “Rhodes, Read and Atif all bring the vital mix of experience and enthusiasm to our team, and we are very excited to have them on board.’’
