SANParks has repaired a hole in the fence at Crocodile Bridge after a 15-year-old boy was attacked by a hyena on Sunday morning, says William Mabasa, Acting Head of Communications.

The boy had been sleeping in one of the tents at the camp site and was rushed to the hospital after receiving first aid treatment by a nurse.

Rangers have been unable to locate the hyena but suspect it entered the camp through a hole under the perimeter fence.
