Tourism Update asked members of the tourism and travel trade if they will still be attending Africa’s Travel Indaba 2019 given the change in dates, which were rescheduled due to South Africa’s national elections. Africa’s Travel Indaba was meant to take place from May 6 to 9, however has been rescheduled for May 2 to 4.
Out of the 201 votes on Tourism Update’s website, 54% voted ‘No’, while 46% voted ‘Yes’.
Tourism Update also ran polls on both Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook 67% voted ‘No’ and 33% voted ‘Yes’, while on Twitter 63% voted ‘Yes’ and 37% voted ‘No’.
At time of publishing, 63% voted ‘Yes’, while 37% voted ‘No’ on Twitter.
