Fair Trade Tourism (FTT) has certified two Mozambican businesses: Kuvuka Café and Machilla Magic.

Kuvuka Café opened in 2013, in Vilanculos, Mozambique, in collaboration with Parceiros Comunitarios, a local initiative that networks and improves community development in northern Inhambane. The cafe serves coffee, which is roasted in Mozambique, and the craft shop offers a selection of sustainable products from Mozambique, including baskets woven by local grandmothers caring for their orphaned grandchildren.

Machilla Magic is a community-based project which began in 2002 in the fishing village of Macunhe, 25km north of Vilanculos, Mozambique. The project works with Mozambican artists and their families to create unique, sustainable crafts such as bead and tin work, hammocks, furniture, boats, carvings, clothing and upholstery. The project harvests local raw materials and 95% of the products are made from recycled and reclaimed materials.
