Western Cape villas get a revamp

Abalone Pool Villas recently revamped the two pool villas, and has added Paternoster’s first butler service.

Abalone House and Spa in Paternoster, Western Cape, recently revamped two pool villas and has made butler services available.

The self-catering accommodation now offers the services of butler, Xavier Ramsami, who will serve a full English or Continental breakfast in suite. Alternatively, breakfast at Reuben’s at Abalone House is on offer.

The butler service is also available for late afternoon drinks and canapés, as well as for dinner by prior arrangement, both at an additional charge.

The two villas are almost identical, and each sleeps two couples or a family of four. There are two spacious en-suite bedrooms with king beds. Both bedrooms lead on to the patio and pool. One of the rooms has a private balcony with 180-degree sea views.

The main living area has comfortable couches, with Persian carpets, and oversized Tretchikoff prints on the walls. There is a coffee pod machine in each room, and complimentary WiFi throughout.

There is an indoor fireplace, along with a Smart TV and Netflix. The glass stack doors can be completely folded back, to allow indoor-outdoor living around the pool and braai area. There is also an outdoor shower.

A number of restaurants are within walking distance but there is a fully equipped kitchen in each villa, encouraging easy meal preparation, with a dishwasher.

The villas are serviced each morning, and turn downs are done in the evenings.

Both units have off-road parking and villa number one has a complimentary lock-up garage with an inter-leading door to the villa. A night security guard and watch dog stationed outside the villas provide additional security.
