2019 International Tourism and Investment Conference launches in London

ITIC launches its 2019 conference in London.

The launch of the 2019 International Tourism and Investment Conference (ITIC) will be held in London on November 2, 2018.

The launch will set the scene for the main ITIC event, which is scheduled to be held on November 1 and 2, 2019 – a platform designed to serve as a unique global investment platform that will bring together investors, private equity firms, bankers, law firms, technology experts, airlines, and international tour operators alongside tourism ministers, industry leaders, policy-makers, sector specialists, CEOs of public and private sector institutions, and more; with a vision to unlock numerous investment/business opportunities for global tourism through innovative projects.

The launch event will include a high-level panel discussion of carefully-selected international leaders in tourism and investment, orientated around the theme: Invest Tourism. These tourism voices will provide deep insight into the investment trends and potentials for strategic partnership in global tourism and investment.

Two representatives from Africa have been selected to take part in the discussion panel, including Najib Balala, Cabinet Secretary of Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife (Kenya); and Saleh Said, Managing Director of Pennyroyal Ltd (Zanzibar). Other panellists include Marie Louise Coleiro Presca, President of Malta; Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism (Jamaica); and Gerald Lawless, Former President and CEO of the Jumeirah Group (Dubai).

Delegates at the 2019 conference will have the opportunity to participate in plenary sessions; multilateral and bilateral business meetings; and will have access to public officials responsible for the implementation of tourism projects; along with other global industry stakeholders.
