To streamline reservations for all its hospitality products, Africa Albida Tourism has installed an online central reservations system, which has recently gone live.
Africa Albida Tourism worked with Hospitality Technology International (HTI) on this project and Glenn Stutchbury, Managing Director of AAT, confirmed: “Three of our lodges – Ngoma Safari Lodge, The Hide Safari Camp and Bumi Hills Safari Lodge – have taken up E-res with effect from February 2011, with Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and The Boma – Place of Eating being loaded on to the system as of May. The ease of use and efficiency of this online reservation system will make a big difference to our bookings going forward and we are very excited about the undertaking.”
The many benefits of utilising this system include: reservation requests being processed within one hour of receipt of the call or email received during office hours; guests will be provided with up-to-date product knowledge at the click of a button; any assistance with enquiries will allow for the opportunity to convert these into solid bookings; the E-Reservation system will assist with group and individual/leisure reservations, rates, corporate bookings as well as enable Africa Albida Tourism to put together tailormade packages with ease. Finally, the new online central reservations system will also be able to track all reservations and provide valuable information per client so that the hospitality group can implement CRM schemes and raise its levels of service delivery.
