Air Seychelles to increase Mumbai frequency

Frequency increased to six flights per week between Seychelles and Mumbai.

Air Seychelles has announced that it will increase its services between Seychelles and Mumbai to six flights per week, starting from May 12. The new frequency will be operated on Sundays by the airline’s Airbus A320.

The flight schedule has been timed with convenient early morning arrivals to meet the increasing demand from the market and provide guests with more travel options. This will also allow seamless connection to Johannesburg and Mauritius via Seychelles.

Charles Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Seychelles, said: “Growing our presence in India forms part of the airline’s strategy to increase its network growth across the Indian Ocean by providing direct air access to the Seychelles archipelago and beyond. We believe that the additional 252 seats provided on this route will also be great news to the Indian community working and living in the Seychelles, similarly to the Seychellois residents travelling for leisure, business or for medical purposes to the west coast.”

Passengers travelling from Mumbai to Seychelles between July and October will also be able to benefit from the seasonal flights to Antananarivo, Madagascar, set to commence on July 3.

The flight schedule is as follows:

  • Departing Seychelles at 22h25, arriving Mumbai 04h30 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
  • Departing Mumbai at 05h45, arriving Seychelles 08h40 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday)
