The Aquila Collection will reopen Kuganha Tented Camp on March 1 following an extensive reimagining that has transformed the facility from a three-room camp to an “ultra luxury” camp with 10 tented suites.
Positioned along the edge of a dam, each of the suites features a fully integrated spa with a cold plunge pool, steam shower, salt halotherapy room, sauna, treatment lounge, private pool, jacuzzi, double outdoor baths, outdoor shower and a sensory deprivation flotation tank. Each of the tents additionally features a two-tiered deck, private dining area and king-size bedroom with a sunken lounge and fireplace.
The main lodge will host lounge and entertainment areas, a wine cellar and whiskey room, an infinity pool, an outdoor boma, a stargazing deck and an outdoor cinema.
The camp will launch with a two-night journey that includes luxury return road transfers from Cape Town, a signature arrival spa ritual and a 24-hour private butler and concierge service. Activities include game drives and a cheetah conservation experience.
