Aeroportos de Moçambique has confirmed that renovation work at Beira International Airport is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 – a move aimed at strengthening the airport’s regional competitiveness.
“We believe that, by the end of this year, the work will be completed and Beira International Airport will be competitive with other airports in the region,” said Amélia Muendane, Chair of the Aeroportos de Moçambique Board of Directors.
According to Club of Mozambique, Muendane said the work is part of a broader modernisation plan for Mozambique’s airport infrastructure.
