The City of Cape Town has resumed its rehabilitation project to revitalise Table View beachfront.
The project includes the construction of coastal walkways, new and refurbished ablution facilities, and parking area upgrades, along a three kilometre stretch of coastline from Dolphin Beach in the south to Bokkomsbaai in the north.
The resumption follows a six-month halt from November 2024. Although areas under construction will be closed off for safety, beaches will remain accessible to the public while construction is underway.
The entire rehabilitation project is due to be completed by November 2026.
