Gold Reef City is expanding its facilities through a R630m refurbishment.
The work began in September last year and is due for completion in October, 2015. It includes the introduction of brand-new offerings and renovation of existing facilities.
Highlights to be completed in the coming months include the Tsogo Sun movie franchise, Movies@, featuring a six-cinema complex, a 12-lane tenpin bowling alley, five new restaurants and a fast food court.
Vigour & Verve, a Tsogo Sun restaurant, opened its doors in early December. Meanwhile, the iconic Back o’ the Moon restaurant has undergone a complete refurbishment. A new addition is its Moon Light Lounge, a cognac and cigar bar.
For family entertainment, the new crèche facility and a refurbished Magic Company welcome little visitors and a Kaya FM satellite studio was launched in February, broadcasting shows on a weekly basis.
