TSOGO Sun’s Suncoast Hotel and Towers, officially launched on August 29, is one of the first new hotels to be built on Durban’s Golden Mile beachfront in 30 years. Construction of the property is almost complete, with its opening scheduled for December. The R155m project will include 128 four-star rooms in The Hotel, while The Towers will comprise 17 premier rooms, 10 junior rooms, eight luxury suites and a presidential suite, all of five-star standard. There will also be a Balinese-style spa. The resort will be managed by Southern Sun. Shamin Chibba (shaminc@nowmedia.co.za)
