Lesotho and Turkey sign air transport agreement

Lesotho and Turkey have signed an air services agreement that will see Turkish Airlines’ network expand further into Africa.

The agreement was signed in Istanbul on November 20 by Turkey’s Transportation and Infrastructure Minister, Cahit Turhan and Lesotho’s Foreign Affairs and International Relations Minister, Leso Makgothi.

The agreement with Lesotho will enable 14 flights over an unspecified period between the two countries, with no limit for air cargo operations. Minister Turhan said Turkey held air transport agreements with 170 countries, and Turkish Airlines flies to 316 destinations in 122 countries around the world.
