Italian airline Neos has launched a direct flight from Milan, Italy, to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) in Tanzania before continuing onward to Zanzibar. The inaugural flight landed at KIA on July 15 with 210 travellers. The return journey will follow the same route from Zanzibar via Kilimanjaro and then onto Milan.
The new service provides direct access to the gateway for northern Tanzania’s safari circuit including Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park.
