Bush Travel Tours, a tour operator in Eswatini (Swaziland), recently hosted a group from Fort Worth, US, on the first ‘Manzini Eco City Tour’. It focused on historical and cultural education while supporting local economic development in the city.
The first stop was King Somhlolo Park, where guests learned about the origins of the Swazi people as well as the ecosystem of the area and the role of nature in Swazi culture. Guests were then taken to Manzini, where they had the opportunity to interact with local people and visit some of the heritage buildings in the town. At Imvelo eSwatini guests could purchase handmade jewellery and other items. On the tour, guests can donate to Manzini Youth Care as well as the Marimba Boys, a group of musicians based at Old Enjabulweni.
