The historic Eendracht Hotel in Stellenbosch has been sold by the Lutz family. A media statement said it has been sold to a “respected local businessman”. The Lutz family will retain ownership of Eendracht Apartments, which will be managed by the same team as the hotel.
The new owner has begun refurbishments and upgrades to the property – aimed at enhancing guest comfort and modernising facilities while preserving the hotel’s heritage.
Eendracht Hotel’s Founder and previous owner, Daniel Lutz, said: “It was a challenge and a pleasure to build up Eendracht from literally nothing in 1996. We wish the new owner success in future endeavours.”
All staff will remain in place to ensure continuity.
