Carol Weaving, Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions, is the latest person to join the board of the newly founded African Tourism Board (ATB).

Whilst addressing attendees at the African Leadership Forum in Accra, Ghana, organised by Ghana Tourism Authority in conjunction with Africa Tourism Partners (ATP), Weaving said: “I am proud to be a founding member of the African Tourism Board. African Tourism is an association that was formed to act as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel to and from and within the African continent,” reports eTurboNews.

Weaving went on to say that she was privileged to be part of such an initiative, and pledged her support with her fellow board members, confident that ATB would contribute to steer Africa’s tourism into a brighter future.
