Precision Air has added two aircraft to its fleet to address capacity constraints and strengthen connectivity on key regional routes, including Tanzania and Comoros.
The expansion includes an ATR 72-500, acquired through a wet lease, and the reintroduction of an ATR 42-600, which returns to service after operational enhancements.
The additional aircraft are scheduled to enter service from August.
Patrick Mwanri, Precision Air’s Group MD and CEO, said: “The ATR 42-600, as the latest ATR model, will provide our customers with enhanced comfort through improved seating and significantly reduced engine noise – elevating the overall travel experience. Its return to service will better position us to meet growing travel demand, especially on routes where the ATR 72 fleet is less suitable.”
