Registrations open for WTM Africa 2026

Trade registration is open for World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from April 14-16. Entry is free until March 13, 2026. Fees apply thereafter.

Megan de Jager, Portfolio Director at RX Africa, said: “WTM Africa is more than an exhibition, it’s three days of connection, writing business, lead generation, learning and celebration.”

Highlights include:

  • China Ready® Workshop: New for 2026, in partnership with China Business Intelligence Service Network, the workshop will take place on April 15 at the WTM Africa Global Stage. Tickets for the session are US$99 until March 13 (US$110 thereafter). This includes the China Outbound Travel Market – Africa Report 2025 and only 50 seats are available.
  • Africa Tourism Investment Conference: This full-day forum at the CTICC Global Stage on April 14 will be presented with JLL Africa and led by strategist Gillian Saunders. The conference is designed for investors and developers focused on sustainable tourism projects.
  • Stellenbosch Experience & Wine Tourism Conference: In partnership with Visit Stellenbosch, this event returns on April 14 as part of the broader Wine Tourism Conference including the Blaauwklippen documentary premiere on April 13.
  • Women in Tourism (WIT) x Women in MICE (WIM): The 2026 WIM Awards will be launched with a leadership breakfast on April 15, followed by a WIT masterclass. WIT will co-present a NextGen Ready workshop on youth mentorship and gender equality.
  • Content tracks and specialist sessions: This will tackle topics such as AI, wine tourism, LGBTQ+ travel, authenticity and traveller psychology.
  • The media programme includes the Africa Travel Week Media Awards plus immersive learning formats such as Sound Garden and Brain Box.
