Tragedy has hit Sarova Hotels and Resorts, with the passing of its Co-Founder and Director, Mohinder Singh (MS) Vohra, along with his wife, Swarna Vohra, daughter Reena Vohra and his daughter-in-law and Sarova Director, Atu Vohra, following a motor vehicle accident in Kenya on Sunday, October 21.
Atu Vohra was wife of the late Jaideep Singh (JS) Vohra, former Sarova Managing Director, who passed away on November 24 last year in a car accident.

The accident occurred at Makueni near Salama on the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway at Makueni. Charles Muthui, Mukaa Police Chief, confirmed that two of the family members died at the scene, whilst the other two were pronounced dead on arrival, reports Standard Digital.
“This is a tremendous loss to the Sarova family and the thoughts and prayers of the Board of Directors, Management and all Sarova Hotels & Resorts staff go out to the Vohra family,” read a statement issued by Sarova’s Board of Directors.
