Shenton Safaris has launched River Song, a new star bed experience at Kaingo Camp in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park.
After a private sunset dinner, guests can fall asleep in the open air on the edge of the Luangwa River. The star bed includes a private bathroom, vanity and a freestanding outdoor bathtub overlooking the river.
For guest safety and peace of mind, an armed scout and guide remain nearby throughout the night with radio contact available at all times. Guests are encouraged to bring only essential personal items while other belongings are securely stored in their rooms at Kaingo Camp.
River Song is open for bookings during the 2026 safari season. It is offered exclusively to guests staying at Kaingo Camp.
