Thomson Safaris has added four new departure dates over the August to November period, due to increased demand.
Additional tours for the 11-day Classic Safari will depart on August 23, October 2 and October 22. The itinerary takes visitors through northern Tanzania, exploring the Serengeti, stopping at the Ngorongoro Crater and ending in Arusha.
The 13-day Ultimate Safari will depart on October 20. This route explores the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Park, ending in Arusha.
Thomson Safaris says visits at this time are ideal as they provide an opportunity to see predators and prey drawn to the dwindling waterholes and rivers, before the rains start toward the end of the year.
