The Tintswalo Collection has opened Tintswalo Summer House in Glencairn, Cape Town. First established in 1904 as the Glencairn Southern Right Hotel, the property was acquired by Tintswalo in 2014 and refurbished.
The hotel offers 12 individually-styled guest suites across four room categories. Some have sea views and others look out onto the pool desk, including a petite suite, four deluxe suites, six luxury suites and a honeymoon suite.
The suites were designed by Camlyn Johnston, Head of Tintswalo Interiors, each with unique colour palettes and interiors.
Shared spaces include a swimming pool and sundeck, a bar, a breakfast room as well as a lounge area. The on-site restaurant, Summer House Eatery, serves lunches and dinners alongside an adjacent sports bar.
