SunSquare Montecasino in Fourways, Johannesburg, is undergoing renovation.
All 179 en-suite rooms will be part of the R16 million revamp. GM, Bernie Hilario, said the work was being done on a floor-by-floor basis to minimise any disruption, and added that the project, which began in August, would likely be completed by March next year.
The rooms will be given new carpets, blackout curtains, furniture and 102cm smart TVs. Each room will have a unique handcrafted 3D mural above the bed.
