Tour Plan Specialist

Key Performance Areas & Criteria
• Costing experience is essential. Product & Rate Loading: Accurately create and update supplier records, accommodation, transfers, activities, and tours in Tour Plan. Capture contracted net/selling rates, validity periods, single/peak supplements, child policies, and VAT treatments on time.
• Contract Administration: Review incoming supplier contracts for clarity, file signed documentation securely on OneDrive according to naming conventions and follow up with Product Managers on missing information.
• Quality Control & Testing: Conduct thorough quality checks on loaded data, running sample costings and test quotations in Tour Plan to verify taxes, mark-ups, and currencies match signed contracts.
• System & File Support: Assist consultants with product, rate, and costing queries, helping investigate cost discrepancies and ensuring data standards are strictly maintained.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in Tourism, Travel, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong, hands-on experience using Tour Plan (Essential).
• Proven background in rate loading, product capturing, travel costings, or supplier contract administration within a DMC or Tour Operator environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• Exceptional numerical accuracy, analytical skills, and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex supplier rate sheets and prioritize high-volume deadlines.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must currently reside in or near the Cape Town / Green Point / Sea Point area. Please note: Relocation from out of town would be at your own cost.
