City Lodge V&A Waterfront in Cape Town has unveiled new amenities and revamped rooms following a two-year refurbishment, elevating the hotel to a four-star status.
The décor and design elements draw inspiration from the Cape’s floral heritage. New features include a wine bar showcasing South African wines and spirits, a restaurant, a canal-facing terrace, a heated splash pool, a new fitness centre, a co-working space and two new meeting rooms – a 12-seater and a six-seater.
The refurbishment was implemented in two phases. The first, from August 2023 to October 2024, included the upgrading of its 207 rooms. The second phase, which began in August last year, focused on the commercial areas and restaurants, and was finalised last month.
