Elephants vs the flood

After weighty rainfall upstream and beyond the boundaries of Eastern Cape’s Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, the Great Fish River surged, causing significant floods of sediment-rich water downstream.

Kwandwe Private Game Reserve shared a video showcasing a morning lion sighting and two elephant herds attempting to cross the Great Fish River, which elevated water levels, in the reserve.
