Kapama Private Game Reserve has announced two developments: the introduction of the new Tamboti Superior Suites at Kapama River Lodge and the evolution of Kapama Southern Camp into an exclusive, villa-only retreat.
Tamboti Superior Suites at Kapama River Lodge
Opening on December 15, the Tamboti Superior Suites mark the next phase in River Lodge’s design transformation. The suites feature contemporary interiors, natural light and views over the bushveld.
Select suites will offer interleading configurations suitable for couples, families and multi-generational travellers.
As part of the broader refurbishment:
- The current Spa Suites will be fully renovated to match the new design direction.
- Family Spa Suites will be replaced with interleading Tamboti Superior Suites.
- Standard Courtyard Suites will be repurposed for guide accommodation.
Southern Camp to become a villa-only retreat
From July 2026, Kapama Southern Camp will transition from its current 10 villas and 15 suites to a villa-only configuration, offering greater privacy and a more personalised guest experience.
