Sarova Hotels & Resorts announced that the refurbishment of Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, kicked-off at the end of October.
The refurbishment will see the repositioning of the hotel into an elegant, luxurious property with contemporary African interiors, showcasing an imaginative use of colours, design, artwork, space and materials. The latest user-friendly technology will be introduced throughout the hotel. This falls in line with Sarova’s business strategy of continually offering guests unique and memorable experiences at all touch points.
The refurbishment will be carried out in two phases to ensure that the hotel remains open for business throughout the project.

Phase one of the programme, which will run for an estimated 18 months, will see a complete redesign of 87 existing bedrooms, including the themed suites, as well as the addition of new guest rooms, a spa, health club, and the remodeling of the heated outdoor swimming pool, food and beverage hub and executive lounge.
The hotel will continue to operate 90 guest bedrooms during the refurbishment, including 10 pool-facing studio suites.
Sarova Panafric Hotel’s in-house banqueting and outdoor catering services will remain fully operational during the refurbishment, however the hotel will have a reduction in its meeting and conferencing facilities.
The Flame Tree Restaurant will also continue to be fully operational and will continue to serve the weekly Sunday brunch.
