Whale-watching season is in full swing and St Michael’s beachgoers got quite an eyeful recently as two whales frolicked and breached close to the KwaZulu-Natal shoreline.
The video captures the lucky sighting as the two happy whales playfully entertain the kids, who can be seen running to the fence to get a closer look at the fun.
A few surfers can also be seen swimming near the shore, with a better view, no doubt.
The whales rise and dip in the water, flipping up and about, allowing for some incredible video and photo opportunities.
