The Ascott Limited, a Singapore-based real estate and lodging company, is set to open Citadines Westview Nairobi, a 160-key hotel in Kilimani, Kenya, in the first quarter of 2028.
The property will offer a mix of hotel rooms, studios and one-bedroom apartments along with meeting and conferencing facilities, a swimming pool and gym.
Located adjacent to Ascott’s existing serviced apartments, Somerset Westview Nairobi, it will form a dual-brand offering for short and extended stays for corporate and leisure travellers with access to the Jabu rooftop bar and La Mascotte restaurant.
The development is part of the company’s Africa growth strategy aiming for 21 properties across 10 cities by 2028, including two in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
“We are honoured to further strengthen our partnership with Britam in this development, bringing together strong institutional investment and Ascott’s global operating expertise,” says Vincent Miccolis, Managing Director: Middle East, Africa and Türkiye for The Ascott Limited.
