Oliver Richter has been appointed as General Manager (GM) of The Peech Hotel in Melrose, Johannesburg.
Richter has gained a substantial amount of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked for Lion Sands Private Game Reserve for 14 years before consulting for Lion Roars Hotel and Lodges, where he was also acting Regional GM for a year. He was then appointed GM for the Athol Place Hotel, Villa and Restaurant. In addition, Richter was Project Manager for Deloitte and Touche at the Compass Group.
The African Business Travel Association (ABTA) has appointed Nadine Clarke as its Regional Director for Africa.
In her new role, Clarke will be responsible for ABTA’s expansion across Africa, as well as increasing membership and sponsorship for the association.
Previously, Clarke was Head of Corporate at Diners Club, and Head of Strategic Relationships at American Express International.
