SANParks has confirmed an increase in daily conservation fees for visitors, effective November 1 to October 31 next year, across all 21 national parks.
The revised rates show incremental adjustments of between R30 (US$1.73) and R70 (US$4.04) per person per day, depending on the park. The Kruger National Park, for instance, will see the international visitor rate rise from R535 (US$30.89) to R602 (US$34.76) per adult per day.
At Addo Elephant National Park, international travellers will pay R492 (US$28.41) – up from R437 (US$25.23) – while Table Mountain National Park’s Cape of Good Hope increases from R455 (US$26.27) to R515 (US$29.74).
In Augrabies Falls National Park, fees will rise from R293 (US$16.92) to R325 (US$18.77). In West Coast National Park, from R272 (US$15.71) to R306 (US$17.67) during the flower season.
The adjustments follow SANParks’ annual review of entrance fees to align with operational costs, infrastructure upkeep and conservation efforts across the national park system.
SANParks emphasised that all visitors contribute directly to the protection of South Africa’s biodiversity and natural heritage through conservation fees, which support park management, habitat restoration and community-based conservation initiatives.
