THE Westcliff Hotel, located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, is this month introducing an exciting new Alfresco Pasta Luncheon Buffet at its Pool Terrace. Designed to be quick, easy and light for busy business executives, tourists on the move and city dwellers, this pasta buffet is the brainchild of the new Executive Chef, Gaetano Scroi. Priced at R95 per person the buffet menu offers a choice of four fresh pastas and authentic Italian sauces, anti pasti, salads and a selection of desserts. Pasta dishes will vary and include exotic dishes from the famous Hotel Cipriani in Venice, also part of the Orient-Express Hotel group. The Westcliff Pool Terrace will be welcoming guests from Monday to Friday for lunch from 12h30 to 14h30. La Belle Terrasse, The Westcliff's signature restaurant, will serve a delicious brunch every Sunday from this month. Cold dishes will include a selection of fresh seafood, as well as a selection of charcuterie, Cape cheeses and fresh salads. Hot dishes from eggs benedict to other traditional brunch favourites will feature on the menu. A dessert section of fresh pastries and exotic gateaux are other tempting delicacies. Priced at R145 per person, Sunday Brunch at the Westcliff will be served between 11h00 and 15h00 each Sunday. (Tracy Karpas)
