AIRPORTS Company South Africa has advised passengers wishing to park their vehicles at Johannesburg International Airport to arrive at least 20 minutes before their normal arrival time. Parking space is limited at present because of a project to upgrade basement parking serving the international terminal. Sections of the basement have been shut down, reducing the amount of parking available. About 200 parking bays have been disabled. The basement upgrades as well as the development of a new 3 000-bay parkade are due for completion in mid-2007. (Natalia Thomson)
