B2B brochure launched for the KZN tourism trade

TOURISM KwaZulu-Natal (TKZN) has launched a new brochure that lists a range of advertising and marketing opportunities to the tourism trade. Well over 20 opportunities from the organisation's Travel and Tourism Travel guide to international and domestic travel shows have been collated in the brochure. "We have all these fantastic marketing opportunities available but we needed to find a way of letting our stakeholders know about them. So we decided to compile them into one comprehensive brochure, " said Mmatsatsi Ramawela, marketing and information officer of TKZN. Ramawela said the third edition of TKZN's flagship Tourism and Travel Guide will be launched at next year's Indaba and 60 000 copies will be distributed during the year internationally at consumer and trade shows and trade workshops. However, she added that the brochure and the opportunities it offered would only be available to registered tourism service providers. Meanwhile, TKZN is revamping its website. "Our site is performing exceptionally well, receiving well over 8 000 visitors from around the world, and has a hit rate of more than 100 000 a month, " said James Seymour, research and information manager for TKZN.
