Babanango opens new airstrip

Babanango Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal has opened a new gateway for fly-in safari guests following the approval of its Eagle’s View Airstrip.

The Type A Aerodrome, located within the reserve, was approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority on August 24.

“Ease of access is an important part of the safari experience,” said Darryl Erasmus, Chief Commercial Officer. “Our new airstrip brings guests closer to the reserve from the moment they arrive. It opens exciting possibilities for fly-in safaris, private charters and more seamless itineraries for domestic and international travellers.”
