THE Cape’s film industry will fall under the spotlight at the Cape Tourism Showcase, taking place from September 15 to 17. The showcase will explore ways in which the film industry can create opportunities for tourism stakeholders to develop new tourism packages. There will be interactive presentations by the Cape Film Commission on the influence of the film industry on tourism, including aspects such as the way local communities and businesses can benefit from film production.
