CC AFRICA will not be going ahead with a planned merger with Selous Safari Company, as announced at WTM last year. The companies have mutually agreed to terminate the relationship, said CC Africa, due to “too many significant differences in the operating culture and value systems”. CC Africa said that any bookings currently in the system for Jongomero, Ras Kutani and Selous Safari Camp will be “honoured, managed and championed by CC Africa.” Steve Fitzgerald, ceo of CC Africa, added that the company will continue to promote Southern Tanzania to complement their Northern Tanzania circuit of lodges.
