WHILE extending its 2000 rates to 2001, Botswana's Chobe Safari Lodge is, for the first time, introducing a selection of fully inclusive rates and flexible packages to enable operators to more conveniently meet the exact holiday expectations of their clients, says a spokesperson.
In addition, the lodge - together with sister camps, Nata Lodge and Tamafupa Safari Camp - is also offering EURO rates for the European market.
New products at "old rates" include a Chobe - Delta Express: Experience the Best of Botswana - Chobe and the Okavango package, a four-night mini safari (or safari extension) in conjunction with Gunn's Camp: and a five-day, all-inclusive combination safari which includes a Chobe river cruise and a tour of the Victoria Falls.
Accommodation at Safari Lodge is in the property's new luxury, air conditioned River Rooms each with its own private verandah overlooking the Chobe River. Extensive renovations and upgrades were completed last year to all existing rooms and thatched rondavels (huts).
Another first is the lodge's new promotional video in VHS or CD-ROM format, which is now available for promotional evenings and staff training.
